It is interesting to consider how the electron chain passes into the cell, and how the energy produced is passed back out, with 3 turns of the protein pump producing ATP for the body. Could this apply to our sun: energy is passed in in the form of a 'solar' electron train, and energy out is passed out in blasts of CMEs?

Certainly there are "fractal qualities".
Electrons orbiting a nucleus.
Planets orbiting a sun.
Stars orbiting a Galaxy
As far as the cell analogy.
Each star seems unique, not copies of all others.
There doesn't seem to be any "DNA" or grand unifying plan, or a set of proteins to carry it out.

I believe the universe is a fractal. Each species of fundamental particle is a strange attractor in the chaotic mix of regular energy and dark energy. At larger scales, those fundamental particles produce their own chaotic mix, and larger particles are strange attractors in that mix. At each larger scale, there is an new set of attractors, but each scale is different. There are themes that repeat at different scales. Vortices, gasses, crystals, foams, etc., are merely themes. A galaxy is not a hurricane; it's just a different manifestation of the vortex theme.
However, I do believe there is a scale at which the whole process starts over. There is a super-universe and a sub-universe. Each universe has its own chaotic mix of regular energy and dark energy, and the same sorts of fundamental particles exist in each. . This is very close to

, except I put about 28 additional orders of magnitude between the galaxies of our universe and the atoms of the next larger-scale universe.
The unifying theme that joins successive universes is the foam. The cosmic foam of one universe is the ether foam of the next larger-scale universe.
