Title: What is the function of Asbestos in Acetylene cylinders?
Post by: Yogz on 07/07/2010 14:47:30
Hi,

What is the function of Asbestos in Acetylene cylinders? I know it is used to stabilise acetylene but in what way? Can asbestos or acetone be used for this same purpose? I read an article in this forum about acetone and it got me highly confused.

Thanks

Yogz
