Why do there seem to be so few people viewing the threads? I usually see like "2, 3, 4..." people viewing. This is an international message board. Shouldn't there be much more?

I noticed that if Hamdani stopped posting that would probably cut the number of posts on the forum by 75%. I guess that is why they let him post his silliness.

A lot has been said about "why there are so few" already.
We could go over it all again and possibly come up with suggestions to improve the numbers. However, at the moment, if any of those changes involve changing the system then we're probably wasting time discussing it. It's not in my (or probably anyone actually reading this) power to change the systems or software in use by the forum. If you keep suggestions down to things that you (we) can actually do then it may be a very short list.

Probably Google is still viewing the questions and answers.
But for short answers, Google seems to prefer sources like Stack Exchange, which probably has a lot more live discussion...

Do you think Google gets confused? Never mind Google, people may get confused or put off.
This is what Google has as a short description of (or extract from) the TNS site:
The Naked Scientists science discussion forum, a free public science forum for asking and answering questions about science, technology and medicine.
You can see that by searching for "Science Forums", finding TNS in the list of the results and just reading what is summarised under it.
However, that isn't what the site does. Some of the posts are just discussions between people rather than a direct Q&A. Some of the forum threads are not really seeking any discussion at all.
I'm not going to say what the site should do, it's not my site and I'm in no position to change the system. However, you can understand that Google (and real people) are left uncertain about what the site actually does or could be used for.
On your first visit, you will not find Q&A posted most frequently. What floods the pages when you click on "view the most recent posts" is something different.
