Emit - Time on it's head

Basic theory:
Dark energy is time. Dark energy burns against matter which creates energy and space, hence the universe is expanding at an accelerating rate. If we consider for a moment the ramifications of time being a type of energy, it presents fairly logical answers for some of the problems facing cosmology today.
I would really appreciate some feedback on this idea, if nothing else a concrete reason as to why this is not possible, just so that I can stop thinking about it if for no other reason
Please bear in mind that this is a theory and not a statement.
If that is a somewhat interesting idea it can be found in further depth below or at newbielink:http://humanopinion.org/time_on_its_head

Emit - Time on it's head
I have written this over and over, trying to structure the idea in many ways. I have tried to answer some of the fundamental questions in cosmology today and it comes out disjointed, I have tried to keep it scientific and cover points and it comes out disjointed. The only way to convey the idea, which seems to work for me is to tell it like a story, which is real, following each succession logical step and discovery, following the path of the idea and where it leads. Please bear in mind it is not a statement.
The main hypothesis put forward here is that time is a force and it has energy. Considering this concept necessitates the evaluation of a number of cosmological and physics theories and cosmological phenomena.
Our current definition of time is incomplete. In our current definition of time, much of science has pigeon-holed time as the 4th dimension, part of the space-time continuum. Although this may be valid, it is also incomplete. It does not necessarily describe time fully. If we say this is not true, then we assume that we know everything there is to know about time.
Time is like a mobile phone. As a simple analogy, consider a mobile phone, it is a phone, however it is no less valid to say it is a computer, both statements are true. Describing it as a phone defines its functional state, however describing it as a computer that does many specific tasks related to capturing and transmitting microwave signals and processing them, etc, is no less valid.
Trying to find a logical explanation for dark energy is what set this idea in motion. Dark energy accounts for 74% of the universe, according to the most recent WMAP observations. If we do not try to postulate the existence of new phenomena to explain dark energy, we have to fall back on to what we already know.
If we think about what could account for 74% of the universe with the phenomena we are currently aware of, we have to then think about what occurs most in the universe and we come to a very simple answer; time and space.
Time and space are the only two fundamental things which occur across the entire universe in a fairly uniform manner. This theory presents time and not space as the critical factor in dark energy and describes space as a result of time. Interestingly, enough many in the scientific community postulate space as the possible reason for the existence of dark energy, postulating that the mere existence of space itself may have a “cost”. “The simplest current explanation for dark energy is that it is simply the "cost of having space": that is, a volume of space has some intrinsic, fundamental energy. This is the cosmological constant, sometimes called Lambda.”1
This theory looks at time as the source of dark energy, as this logically seems to make more sense than space and on reflection it has made sense to generations of humanity. Anecdotally, throughout our history, humans have always perceived time as a force, that time “moves” or “flows”. Our language has reference upon reference to the movement or force of time. Time waits for no man. Time being an unstoppable, unrelenting force is a shared human perception. Science seems to have overlooked this.
Therefore, if we consider that time is dark energy and we attempt to remain within the realms of classical physics and the Laws of Thermodynamics, we must consider that dark energy must have a fuel, which brings us to dark matter.
The first hurdle of this theory presents is that if dark energy “burns” dark matter, then dark matter should decrease over time. One would assume that this would not be provable for many years, however surprising we find that it had already been proved.
“The density of dark matter in an expanding universe disappears more quickly than dark energy and, eventually, the dark energy dominates. Specifically, when the volume of the universe doubles, the density of dark matter is halved but the density of dark energy is nearly unchanged (it is exactly constant for a cosmological constant).”1
We have already proved correlation between dark energy and dark matter, further it is related to the universe expanding.
From here the theory diverges into a number of paths and is it is woven into different phenomena in the universe to consider where it goes.
Accelerated Expansion
The first thing one has to consider when one looks at the expansion of the universe is that the universe is getting bigger. If we consider this concept for a moment, it is logical to reason that for the universe to get bigger, more space must be added to it, not necessarily only space, but the main ingredient for the expansion of the universe must be space. Although space is a fairly abstract concept due to it being a fundamental quantity, it must be something for it to increase. How is more space created to allow for the universe to expand? Space must be created by some process. This brings us back to dark energy and dark matter. If time is dark energy and it is “burning” dark matter, then in classical terms it must result in something. That something could be our classical energy and space.
Dark energy “works” against matter and this interaction between dark energy and matter creates energy and space. Therefore, all energy in the universe is activated by dark energy, aka time. Dark matter is converted in dark energy, as time runs and dark energy acts against matter and the “spark” from this interaction is energy and space radiating out from the matter, thereby expanding the size of the universe. The universal expansion is accelerating because as more space is created, more time/dark energy must fill that space and act on it, even if this action is much smaller in magnitude or almost nonexistent, it still creates a small or tiny amount of space. As this process occurs on an ongoing basis, dark matter decreases as dark energy “burns” it and space and energy are produced as a byproduct.
Why? Why does time/dark energy act against matter and possibly all other phenomenon in the universe? The singularity.
Singularity
Our current cosmological theory postulates a Big Bang and many experiments and data point to this being a valid theory. For the Big Bang to have occurred and our universe to form in the process, we must assume that the universe was a singularity at that moment or almost a singularity. If the Big Bang theory is correct, then where does time come from? Let us consider that our universe often displays fractal patterns. Now consider a few factors concerning a gravitational singularity. Firstly, the mathematic formula for a gravitational singularity is t = 0. Time equals zero. This both explains how a singularity is possible (and not possible) and allows us to formulate an explanation as to how and why it occurs.
Although this theory can explain the creation of the singularity, let us first consider the advanced stages of the formation of a singularity first. As some form of matter compacts into an ever decreasing volume, it is logical to think that surely a critical mass would be reached where the gravitational pressure of the forming singularity, would become too great for the developing singularity to support or exist under. At this point the absolute singularity has not been created and it is reasonable to state that it would probably be impossible for it to ever exist, if gravity can exist outside of time.
Here we can see a fractal pattern to other phenomena in our universe, such as nuclear fusion and the formation of a star. It is reasonable to think that singularity must be subjected to similar conditions, even if they are on an entirely different scale.
Therefore, at the point of critical mass, an “explosion” occurs and that explosive is time (dark energy) and its implicit purpose is to destroy the singularity. This is the period between 0 and the first unit of Plank Time. In this period time/dark energy is so concentrated, it has sufficient energy to deconstruct singularity (pure matter) this results in a huge amount of space being formed, a massive release of energy and the creation of deconstructed matter which is dark matter. At 10-43 seconds (one unit of Plank Time), time/dark energy has been dispersed through the creation of a massive amount of space and has lost its critical energy to deconstruct matter. At this point the classical matter that is currently present in the universe is all that remains of the singularity (pure matter).
Inflation
The massive, extremely fast expansion of the universe can be explained by this theory. Between 0 and 10-43 seconds time acted so intensely on the singularity (matter) that incredible volumes of space where created and began to radiate out, separating the remaining pieces of singularity (matter). This caused the universe to burst into being.
The purpose of time is to destroy the singularity, to destroy matter. At 10-43 seconds time could no longer destroy matter, but continues to try to destroy matter and hence this interaction now generates energy and space.
Gravity
Gravity is the force of the singularity, it is matter’s inherent attraction to other matter, the bigger and denser the body of matter, the greater it’s gravity.
The only logical way a singularity can be described, is if gravity can exist independently and outside of time (t = 0). If dark energy is the reason for the universe expanding and it does use dark matter in some manner as a fuel. Then it is logical to reason that dark matter will eventually be exhausted and when it is, dark energy (time) will be extinguished, it will cease to exist. At this point if gravity were the only force remaining in the universe, how long would it take for the universe to collapse into a singularity or parts of the universe to collapse into singularities? This is an interesting paradox, if time ceased to exist, how long would it take? The only logical and rational answer is, instantaneously, as time does not exist. t = 0.
Once again, we would have a singularity event or events where the gravitational pressure would become too great for a developing singularity to support and the Big Bang would happen again and a certain amount of matter (singularity) would survive, probably within a normal Bell Distribution, similar to our current universe.
This raises a number of interesting questions to be pondered. How much matter needs to exist in a singularity to create a universe? How many times can you divide 1?
The Mysteries of Dark Energy and Dark Matter
The most recent WMAP observations are consistent with a universe made up of 74% dark energy, 22% dark matter, and 4% ordinary matter. The problem science has is that we have not been able to ascertain exactly what dark energy and dark matter are, where they come from or what their functions are.
Let us consider what we do know or believe at the moment. We know that dark energy must fulfill certain requirements. “The most important property of dark energy is that it has negative pressure and can be distributed relatively homogeneously in space.”1
First let us consider that dark energy must be distributed relativity homogeneously in space. With our current knowledge, only two fundamentals fulfil this requirement, those being space and time. Time fits this criterion; it is pervasive throughout the entire universe and is therefore “distributed relatively homogeneously in space”, it is isotropic.
Secondly, dark energy must have negative pressure. “The gravitational repulsive effect of dark energy's negative pressure is greater than the gravitational attraction caused by the energy itself”. When time acts against matter a force radiates off of the matter/dark energy interaction, this “force” in basic terms is space radiating off the matter.
“The unusual energy thought to be responsible for the acceleration of the universe is called dark energy. It is "dark" because it is not known what form the energy takes: it is not directly visible and has not been detected in particle physics experiments.”1
Our current paradigms do not necessarily see space as have energy qualities. This does not necessarily mean that the mere existence of Space itself may not have a “cost”. “The simplest current explanation for dark energy is that it is simply the "cost of having space": that is, a volume of space has some intrinsic, fundamental energy. This is the cosmological constant, sometimes called Lambda.”1 However, our classical paradigms do not attribute any energy qualities to space, surely there is some value in looking at possibility of this “vacuum energy” and its pervasive but extremely small density of the cosmological constant of 10−29g/cm3, being time itself.
If we dare to consider time as having energy, then it may be possible to find classical explanations for the existence of Dark Energy.
