Dearest Science Peeps Of Puissance And Academic Awe,
Yes, it's true !!..even I have to place my bags through Airport X-Ray machines !!...I know ....Incredible isn't it ?...don't these people know who I am ?
Anyway, I'm not too sure if ewe can see it...but my sandwich revealed itself in all it's beef steak and salad glory !

But, now that it's had a dose of Airport X-ray goodness and luff......Is it still safe to eat ?
Please hurry.....I'm hungry and although I'm in the first class lounge with an ' all you can eat buffet'......i still want my sandwich !

Unless your sandwich has a bomb or gun hidden inside it, i reckon so...but hold on, are you allowed to carry sandwiches in your luggage?

Your sandwich is more safe than before, bacteriologically (because those X-rays have destroyed some microorganisms) so it should even be preserved for a slightly longer time, from this point of view. The radiation however should have produced some toxic free radicals inside the chemicals and I don't know if the amounts could be considered completely safe.

Hmmm..thank you Mr LightArrow Alberto !(Amo Italia !)
So, on one hand my sarnie is now purer...on the other hand.....it may be carcinogenic........hmmm !! [::)]

It's safe.
Lots of things, like dried herbs are treated with radiation to give them a longer shelf life!
