Title: Why Should EWE Not Brush Your Teeth After Drinking Orange Juice ?

Dearest Lufflies (ewe know I luff ewe guys and gals dont ya ? )

.....however,

he just drank some of this stuff !

Ewe'd normally think...not a problem...best thing to do is brush your teeth after drinking juice...but Barrington then went on learn that ewe should wait a good thirty minutes or so after drinking orange juice before brushing your teeth !!...why's that then ?

Won't the excess juice lingering in his mouth continue to harm Barringtons teeth ?...so why the need to wait for half an hour ?

Do ewe know !

I don't ...I want to !!

Yep we do!

Perhaps being so acidic, the acid might help to remove or loosen plaque for brushing.. or perhaps the teeth absorb vitamin c and this gives it time to penetrate without harming them???? I really don't know but that would be my guesses!

Here is advice given to bulimics..

I'm no specialist in this field, but I always thought that acidic foods (like fruit juices) temporarily soften the enamel, so if you brush your teeth when they are soft and vulnerable you risk wearing them away rather quickly -- and maybe getting sensitive teeth?

HUMMMM Thats something I think I may have heard a long time ago also.. Something like that anyway!
