Title: How can I reduce inflammation in an elbow injury?

what are some stuff that can be done to lower inflammation in my elbow from an injury?

You can take an anti-inflammatory drug like aspirin or ibuprofen (Tylenol won't work), or go to the doctor to get something stronger. Icing is generally recommended, though some medical professionals say this is only useful in the first 24 hours. There are also anti-inflammatory foods such as most colorful fruits and vegetables, oily fish and certain nuts, seeds, herbs and spices such as ginger. Chili peppers may also help.

I have bursitis in my right hip and the doctor told me to use heat for 10 minutes the ice for 10 minutes and to repeat hourly.  It does seem to be helping.
