Of course, they work in micro or zero gravity. Space travel depended on these devices for guidance & other tasks. Without gyro's, the capsules would've just been uncontrollable. Not only are they important for space travel but are also found in about all of the US military's missile(Patriot, Tomahawk,etc.) stockpile.
