If we say in theory that combining certain features of animals was possible, what would you mad scientists create?
I would most likely go for a tiger, with the grunt of a sperm whale (very loud), a mouth of a great white, and the feet of a spider- to climb things. [] dangerous beast it would be  [B)] [B)] [xx(]

Another problem would be that some people think that a parallel universe would be an equal and opposite to ours, so if we proved it exists, wouldn't we be consequently we are the opposite (not exist), we would be self destroying our universe if we created an opposite universe.
To answer this question you would firstly have to know the shape and size of the universe - and the nature of what is beyond, and we are way off even getting outside our galaxy - maybe someday we will know, but for now we can just imagine and fantasize. We could be one of many universes - which make up a super universe, or we could be marbles in our universe - as speculated in men in black at the end of the film. hehe []

H _{2 S can be a product of this reaction, and although very minute quantities are produced - the stink is still very substantial with a pile of sodium iodide, and thanks DrDick anyway, i will look in hardware stores!}

In an open air enviroment its all good, never do it without a vented place thats for sure, and yes i know it is not fun to be burnt with H2SO4, my fingers have paid the price for my passion for science many times, can i ask how to do sub/super scripts, its easier for writing out chemical formulas

I was wondering today whether it would be possible to isolate myoglobin from the blood of a deep diving sea mammal, and cultivate it to inject into humans - therefore giving us a possibility of staying underwater longer - a helpful remedy for one of the harry potter tasks in the 4th film/book!!!! not that i am interested just happen to know that..... [] [] [] anyway, anybody that knows, please share, because i would love to stay underwater for a long time without a big o2 tank. [O8)]

Has anybody ever experimented with H2So4 on Salt (sodium chloride to be official), or any other halide salt - sodium bromide, sodium iodide (peeeewww [xx(] [xx(] what a stink the H2S produces, that wasn't too much fun in my back garden. Anyways i was wondering if anybody buys it, where do they get it from? my source was a friend who is a chemistry teacher at a sixth form college, much fun to be had with concentrated acids!!!  [] [] [] []
