Hi all!
I was at work and just happened to see this shiny sparkling rock. I found it interesting as it's two toned. Would love to know what it is. Thanks!

That's a neat find, I'm no geologist so I can't say for sure what it is, but the top brown part appears to be typical sedimentary stone, that dark area I'm not sure about but it does look cool, the sparkles are most likely made by mica.

I see no shiny sparkly rock, seems more like a fossilised turd to me.
Anyways, so what was it?
