Just for the record, I still can't log in The Naked Science message boards on my smartphone. I can check it there. And I get around the problem by just posting and replying on my PC.
But I know it's not a password or software issue. I post on every other message board including Facebook and Twitter that way, my smartphone.

That's to bad.

Perhaps you Forgot you created a Thread for this Specific issue.

I responded, tryin to Troubleshoot your Problem.
You did Not reply back & Ignored it.
Anyways, past is past, bygones!
I'll try again.
1) When you Logged in from your Computer, did you Click the
" Keep me Signed In/Stay Signed in Indefinitely " box or Something?
Maybe if you are Already signed in from your PC, the System might Not permit you to sign in thru Mobile, until n unless you Logout from PC.
2) I have heard the Website/Login page look Different in style/text/layout in comparison to a PC window view VS Mobile window view.
a) Whenever i Login, i goto
" thenakedscientists " main official webpage.
b) Then i Avoid the Login tab n Click on the " Get Naked " tab.
c) Within it i find the " Science Forum " sub tab.
d) I click on it & it autodirects to the Science Forum Page.
Then i Finally login with Username & pswd & Time slot provided to remain logged in.

*Note - They both are Different!
If the Issue persists, Please lemme know, We shall try to work it out.
All the Best!

Keep me Signed In
Just for the record, I just two days ago discovered how to check replies by clicking on my username (they don't highlight it here, further confusing you). And then you go to "posts". And then you have to go to that thread to see who replied. Up until now, I have been doing it manually. That's okay. Because I don't post that often. Usually once a week on Thursdays. But I think I may have missed it, especially if it was old. No worries as you said.
I of course always keep myself in Keep me Signed In. It really doesn't matter. Because I usually post on TNS once a week on my PC. But sometimes I might be on the road. And I might have to reply. That hasn't happened yet.

So even when you are " Always Signed In " thru the PC...you are still able to Login thru Mobile?
(2 different devices, logging into 1 user account, at the same time)
Have you Tried " Signing Out " from PC first...& then trying to Login thru Mobile ever?
By the way, if you Click on your own Username...
you'd see four buttons.(tabs)
1) Profile Info.
2) Modify Profile. (Click)
3) Actions. (Do Not Click)
4) Summary.
(Do NOT click on Actions, NO!)
If you click " Modify Profile "
You'd get 8 different optional sub tabs.
1)
2)
3)
4) NOTIFICATIONS. (this might help)
5)
6)
7)
8 )
So to reiterate...
click username (Jimbee)
click (2)modify profile
click (4)notifications
This might Help you to keep track of Discussions & you won't Miss out on Replies from Other users.
ps - if still no progress, no worries.
just lemme know, we will keep working on this until it's fixed.
(I shall be checking this Thread ok)

Click --> @Jimbee <-- Click.
Then ' Modify Profile '
& finally " Notifications "
Choose whatever Settings/Options that suit you the Best!
-
Not a problem, just dump the smartphone!

I don't check the posts here every day. Plus we got some snow where I live (SE MI). So I think I will just take it easy for the near future.
I'll try to solve the problem on my own. And if I need help, I won't hesitate to ask. As I said, I usually just check the Naked Science forum when I'm on the road anyways. I only post (and rarely reply) about once a week.

Sounds good!
You taking things Easy, not the Snow.
