Sometimes when I get an infectious disease I have a big boost in productivity (usually at start and end of the infection since I'm not superhuman).
Completely failed to find anyone else mention anything similar, can't even find the right words to Google.
Is this a recognised thing?

Productivity doing what?

Productive in what sort of way, Simon? Intellectually, physically...?

Well it is mostly mental I guess.
But that big list of jobs that have been put off gets a big dent, of course if and when the infection is bad I curl up and sleep like everyone else, its just as it starts and finishes.
Last time tasks which had been sitting around for 6 months got done, bills paid, paperwork filed, office tidied etc.
I'm on block and replace for Graves' disease, but I can't find anyone describing anything similar, and "productive" isn't terribly useful search term with "infection" unless you want to learn about coughs.
