You seem to think that nobody understands how to do experiments.
That's plainly wrong.

You can not demonstrate reliably any further phenomenon behaviour if your experimental devices itself use the phenomenon you want to study.

OK, say you want to do an experiment to find out about tigers.
According to you, you can't include a tiger in my experiment because that would be "the phenomenon you want to study."

No iron atom exists in Haemoglobin.
Iron (II) ions do apparently.
But the evidence is open to re-evaluation.
For example, its possible that this is all a simulation.

x^e is not the same as e^x

I'm not sure if it was intended as an insult, a threat or what.

Just Chat! / Speech recognition software- anyone use it?

OK, I know there's a "computer stuff" section of this site but I'd prefer to leave that for folks who know what they are talking about.
My question is in the title. Does anyone here regularly use speech recognition software as an alternative to typing? I'm asking because my typing isn't that fast but my friends tell me that I can't half talk.

(I'd just like to clafify that, while the voice pattern recognition used as a security feature is important and fascinating stuff, it's not what I'm asking about.)
If anyone has any experience that they can share I'd love to hear it (even if that experience is "I tried them all and they all suck") and I'm sure others might be interested too.
