Will ferrous sulfate set up as a plaster?

Will Fe(SO₄) or Fe(SO₄).H₂O, if finely powdered and then mixed with some water, set up into a solid mass?

It might set as it converts to the normal hydrate (heptahydrate IIRC). However since it's rather soluble in water and not stable in the presence of oxygen, it won't be a very useful plaster
