Title: where would this form ?

found this today while searching for rocks for my tank it brakes into tiny pices and become like beach sand in my hand but its all the same textures inside out anyone know where this formed ? and how ? very shiny in the sunshine looks almost like a brick of shiny silver :D thought it would look good in my tank but i am not sure if i should place it in there

Mica schist.  It's a metamorphic rock that forms when heat + pressure change clay-rich rocks into mica minerals.  The direction of maximum pressure is perpendicular to orientation of the mica.
