I think so.
I am pretty sure that since the summer of 1976 and the hurricane of 87 that summers here in the UK have become noticeably hotter with some incredible extremes......Snow seems to fall later and later in the year......it's like there's not just a shift in temperature but also a shift in the timeline of the seasons.
..this of course is a very local opinion.

Yes and the grass in my garden has been getting worse and browner since the turn of this century.
It is even hotter this May than it's been for a while in the Uk.
also it was a wet spring too.

Rosalind Franklin was my first cousin and one my life's main regrets is that I never met this brilliant and beautiful lady.
She discovered the Single DNA Helix in 1953, then it was taken by Wilkins without her knowledge or agreeement.

This is a tricky subject - when I was at school in the 1950s the 1st XI cricket pitch was burned to a crisp every June in the long, hot summers we had then. Also, in the winter of 1962/3, which was very cold, I remember being able to skate along the fenland drains from Peakirk to Crowland (Cambs/Lincs) - the talk then was that we were heading for another ice-age. And again, I remember in the first week of February 1965 seeing a park in Knightsbridge, London, full of flowering daffodils.
There will always be yearly instances that point to one argument or the other but the overall picture has to be considered alongside the cyclical variations that occur over decades. The global warming concept can't really be quantitively measured like this.
Although there seems pretty good evidence for it on a grosser scale (depleted glaciers, ice shelfs etc) by far the biggest effect it has had so far is on the media.

Nothing is absolute. It takes a thousand people to make a stereotype, only one to grind it into the dust.
