Title: That Chill Down Your Back?
Post by: Jimbee on 06/08/2014 16:16:03
I have always wondered, what is that chill you get down your back, when you hear your national anthem, for example?

I have asked people this question before. And they usu. tell me it's a fight-or-flight response, basically your hairs standing on end, as if you feel threatened. But that doesn't make sense.

Why would you feel threatened when you hear your national anthem, for example? Overall, it is a positive experience. So it has to be a positive response.

But what is it? And why do you feel it then?
