Interesting. Thank you.

I found it was pretty funky too, A slight problem with colour due to someone using incorrect resolution settings apparently which turned the image to black and white but was resolved. Kinda making me think about getting shut of my antique microscope and kit. But tis a wonderful bit of precision instrumentation I have here so very reluctant to part with it for a new fangled usb thingamajig. Have put a digital camera down the lens of my old scope and results have been gob smackingly beautiful. This usb joby on the other hand puts the images right onto your hard drive.

That's something I like about it.

It may be possible to convert a cheapo webcamera to fit your "antique microscope" ... http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=9khTIkwNmW8

Cool video thanks RD
I use my digital camera because the additional zoom plus the autofocus in the camera works pretty well and delivers huge magnification.
