look out your Windows look at the lush Green grass,the tall trees healthy Green,the flowers .all manufacturing.food.soon as the sun hits the leaf in the morning photosynthesis begins.making glucose sucuse.enzymes .proteins.water and mineral salts are absorbed through the roots and carried up the stems and its off shoots .carben diozide is changed into sugar.releasing oxygen for us all to breath.the transport system is under the bark of the tree,between the outer bark layer of treesand the inner old Wood layer is a thin layer the wet ans slippery layer that is exposed when the bark is damaged called the pholem.which stores all this natural food.which feeds the root hairs the root the stem the leaves fruit every thing you are looking at out of your window.
but what are we all doing in the spring or autuum we prune cutting out the old stems which are full of this wonderfull plant food.if we were to take off the bark scrape out the natures food and use it.when you buy food for your plants it has to be broken down first .or composted for a year or two ,this is already to feed the plants with.nature has done all the work .so why cant we use it to make our cuttings grow roots .leaves .our flowers to grow better,i have been thinking of this for some time now.we use every thing from plants for our own lives.medicines.rooting plants with willow wood .
in 1860 they used the phloem from the pine tree to make bread and savid hundreds of lives in findland,i have a old science almanack for 1870 which scientist hit on the same thing i am mentioning.and said what a waste.the energy we all are throwing away.have you Heard of anybody doing experiments on this idea why.its already there stored feeding our plants without it know plants would live no animal could live.but we cut it up and burn it.we are looking at it every day when we see a tree or flower.the magic which is going on inside.if we had a chemicle in a bottle we would use it.and if that chemicle made every thing live we would respect it.when we change a tree we graft or bud using these speacial chemicles .which are laying under the bark

I used to recommend this book to my students at Tomsk Polytechnical University. Tomsk had been closed to western visitors for 70 years and the English Foreign Language professors there had some odd notions of how to write proper English.
