Since all the matter in the universe was said to condense into a point the size of a golf ball before it exploded, why did it manage to escape it's own gravity unlike so many supernovas turned black holes do you think?

This question can't be answered without a comprehensive theory of quantum gravity, although at the golf-ball size, we do have non-quantum partial answers. Guth and Lindt proposed the inflationary theory which tell us that the universe went through a phase of negative pressure where the gravity became repulsive. This caused a golf-ball sized universe to double in size every 10e-35 seconds until it had inflated by a factor of at least 10e56. Then there was another phase change to attractive gravity, which caused a re-heating of the universe. The sudden appearance of gravitational binding energy, which was negative, was balanced by the sudden appearance of mass and energy of equal amount and positive sign.
Inflationary theory explains a number of difficulties with the cannonical hot big bang theory, such as the horizon problem, the flatness problem, and the primordial particles problem. It has always had problems with the phase change back to normal, however.
At sizes well below golf-ball, our physical theories run into troubles. We don't actually have any experimental evidence that gravity exists on those scales. It is possible that we will find that the strength of gravity changes at quantum scales, so that black holes do not contain singularities, and there is no such barrier to expansion in the early universe.

Can we say that we are not inside a black hole?
-
Black holes are attractors} a point of organization that not only orders the space around it but also condence and absorbs this information. these points exist all though the universe in a hiarcheral pattern of circulating feed back loops. just like a cognitive function. look into someone's black void in the center of the eyes this is the black hole of the body, that connects us with the universe, when you ponder the black hole you are seeing the eye of the galaxy that's seeing you.[;)]

Yes, yes we can.

Gravity is a warping of space-time. It is a meaningless concept before space and time existed.

No we can't![:)]

Lee Smolin thinks universes have babies by creating black holes which create new universes. So this universe by that thinking, must also have sprung from such a source.
Ah, but then where would the FIRST black hole have come from? It's just the same problem, once removed.

Pointless is meaning in quantum universe.
Or is it:
Meaningless is pointing in non-euclidian universe.
With Yoda accent please!

Why Either? The thing about Black Holes, is they are black. And the thing about space is it's black. (Red Dwarf)

??? More like to speed up, I wanna see the cool ultra mechanical future before I die thanks [:D]
