demo, I think there is definitely a connection between your absence of sperm and Animus's surgery resulting in first no sperm, and later on, no semen.Animus's POIS symptoms improved after his body stopped producing sperm and it's likely that yours improved as well at the time your body stopped producing sperm. There may also be a connection with the fact that both you and animus seemed to have improved POIS symptoms on testosterone therapy. I think the main reason Animus achieved 100% free POIS symptoms was the stopping of semen production,... but perhaps testosterone improved his POIS as well?
POTENTIALLY BIG NEWS.Willem is reporting "mild POIS" from 1:5000 home made semen/water dilution.and "definite reactions" from 1:10,000. This opens up a real possibility of self cures being workable.
It sounds crazy to think autologous semen could pose a threat, but it may be possible to have an anaphylactic response, so please be careful if you decide to try this [sublingual immunotherapy].
The new POIS Forum link is now redirecting to:www.POISCenter.com/forums/index.php
Animus, I just watched the show from the link. I think that you presented your case in a rational intelligent manner. It is courageous to put such an unusual personal situation in front of cameras. Very well done!
bonjour,je pense avoir les symptomes de POI...parlez vous français sur ce forum?merci

I'm definitely having an allergic reaction to it (unless some negative placebo is possible?). The allergist test also induced POIS.
Meanwhile, Waldinger and colleagues of Immunopharmacology continue his research into the cause of POIS. "We are now at the molecular level to the sperm look. What is not good there? From studies in humans, we now have on basic research."
Demo, personally I think your remaining 20% is most likely caused by semen and if you eliminated semen production you would eliminate that 20%. However I base that mainly on Animus's successful surgery and his case is still only one case no matter how successful it was meaning there may be a possibility it won't work for everyone with POIS.On a different note, but not entirely, Starsky posted this on the new forum about fenugreek. I think it could be pretty important info: --------"OBJECTIVE: The objective of this study was to evaluate the potential antifertility activity of feeding diets containing 30% fenugreek seeds to male and female white New Zealand rabbits. RESULTS: The data presented in this study clearly demonstrate an antifertility effect of fenugreek seeds in the female rabbits and more of a toxicity effect in the male rabbits. In males, testis weight was reduced, with evident damage to the seminiferous tubules and interstitial tissues as shown by the histopathology of testis tissue sections. In addition, the plasma concentration of the androgen hormone and sperm concentrations were halved in the treated animals. In the case of the females, there was evidence of a significant reduction of developing fetuses as observed by reductions of both fetal and placental weights at 20 days of gestation and of the litter size. This was further supported histopathologically by the observed proliferative changes of the endometrial glands. The circulating plasma progesterone concentrations at 10 and 20 days of gestation significantly increased with no significant effect on the prebreeding estrogen concentrations in the treated animals."--------Perhaps this means fenugreek reduces POIS by reducing sperm production. Demo, did you say you tried fenugreek? If it didn't work for you maybe it's because you weren't producing sperm at the time.
