I don't know if it's been posted before, but it's just a bit of fun... (or it's your destiny however you want to look at it)

My Perfect Scientist date is Galileo curses.. just four hundred years too late.
Galileo has been called the "father of modern observational astronomy," the "father of modern physics," not to mention the "father of science." He was also the father of three illegitimate children, so you might want to prepare your folks for that before you bring him home. Still, Galileo made many important discoveries including the moons of Jupiter and, oh, that sun was the center of the solar system. He's not for the faint of heart.

OK, OK My real date was Marie Curie
she gets around.. at least with all the glowing in the dark she'd be easy to find.
I was wondering who they would have as the female scientists.. I know they exist but there aren't many in prominence.

Your date is Darwin:
Darwin's theories of evolution and natural selection may still be controversial, but Darwin the man was everything but contentious. He was Insightful, deductive, observant, but also very much a procrastinating homebody. He liked to stay in with his wife Emma and their 10 children. He was devoted to his wife, a devout Christian, and always tried to be mindful of her beliefs when discussing his theories.
Round two:
Your Date is Galileo
Galileo has been called the "father of modern observational astronomy," the "father of modern physics," not to mention the "father of science." He was also the father of three illegitimate children, so you might want to prepare your folks for that before you bring him home. Still, Galileo made many important discoveries including the moons of Jupiter and, oh, that sun was the center of the solar system. He's not for the faint of heart.
I think I will leave Galileo to himself.. he roams just like my soon to be ex!
