OK, bad topic title alert.
When i am typing, and saying the words in my head as I type, I notice that quite often i type something totally different to what i want to or am thinking! Why is taht?

[;D]
This happens to me all the time !
I write a sentence, I may pause the typing, but in my head I carry the sentence on and when I proof read it, I've noticed I've left out a word or two, or even worse, typed something else completely !
...clearly this is a loss of concentration issue and I find it happens when I am most certainly preoccupied with other issues.
And that's what I have to say about that .

Methinks Rosalind has missed the irony in my reply.

But that does not answer the question.

What question?

What question?
The bit at the top of the page, you know, those words followed by a question mark.

You mean "Why is taht?"? What kind of question is that?

One where I notice that quite often i type something totally different to what i want to or am thinking, hence the question. Get with the programme, girlfriend...

I don't have the problem so much with typing (probably because I type so slowly it gives plenty of time to think through what I'm doing before I've finished typing my word), but when writing on paper to quickly, I seem to have a real habit of trying to start writing my word with its second letter despite having a picture of the word spelt properly in my head. Izarre :S
