Dave Meikle asked the Naked Scientists:
I was amused by the question at the end of last week about getting particularly good sleep when it is lucid sleep. This is because I have found the trigger for me having lucid sleep is often watching horror movies. The dream is usually impossible to tell from being awake until the nasty bit kicks in. I now have techniques to wake myself immediately but until I discovered that such dreams were not fun, particularly as I can 'wake' only to discover a bit later I am still asleep when it kicks off again :-)
Needless to say I avoid horror films but the big surprise was when a couple of years ago my father said he had the same thing.
Love the show
Regards
What do you think?
