Recently there was a study with regard to stents actually improving blood flow. Although blood flow was increased, the risk of further heart attacks and subsequent death was not. My interpretation of this finding (a topic for research) is that the heart has reached a inherent health by the time stents may be needed. Thus early heart health should be started and promoted at the earliest ages of development. Can any one confirm, deny, or offer alternate discussion?
