What do you think of cheerleaders? Should cheerleading be considered a sport? If you had kids would you let them join a cheer squad? Cheerleaders are stereotyped as snobby and dumb. Have you ever met an intelligent cheerleader?

If they become extinct we'll have to come up with a new name for this phenomenon ...

I am sure if we can consider cup stacking a sport, cheerleading should also be able to be considered a sport, I have seen a 'show' once and I must admit they were quite talented and it was very impressive.

I don't see why we should't be able to consider it sport, it requires plenty of training, coordination and teamwork just like any other team sports. What are the reasons it should't be considered a sport?

What do you think of cheerleaders?
That's not a fair question since all sorts of girls become cheerleaders, some are nice, some aren't. However in general I have the impression that they're snobs. The only reason I have that impression is because cheerleaders are selected because of their looks only and the prettier a high school girl is the greater the chance she is of being a snob.

Should cheerleading be considered a sport?
No. In fact I don't think there should be any cheerleaders in the first place. They serve no useful purpose in my opinion.

Things like this are not the kinds of things parents should control what their children do. The child should have her choice of whether to do it or not.

I've never met a cheerleader. In fact I don't believe most people have me a cheerleader, hence the impressions of being snobby.
