I sat at home drinking coffee and writing up my project. []Then I went to bed. Being single is naff sometimes!

Bought roses Tuesday - on sale at just 10% of what they went for the previous day.......I was a little busy on monday, as there is currently a transport workers strike on, and I suddenly got a promotion to driver for most of this week in addition to my normal work. Been lovely and hot for the whole week, in the low 30's every day. ;-)
Gave the wife a new snow shovel- she just hasn't quite been getting the job done with the old one.Don't know why she turned so cold and aloof? I even pasted little hearts on the handle! [B)]

I took the woman I love for a beautiful meal at a top class restaurant in Paris, where I had arranged for a bouquet of 1 dozen red roses to be delivered to her at the table by a violinist who then played 'And I Love Her'.We sat at the window overlooking the Seine and just as we finished our meal, a pyrotechnic display began and ended with the words 'I Love You' written in sparkling silver across the night sky.The pianist played 'Once, Twice, Three Times a Lady' as the Maitre d' approached our table. He clicked his fingers and the wine waiter brought a bottle of the finest Dom Perignon which he deftly and skillfully opened and poured into two crystal champagne flutes. I and my beloved interlocked arms as we drank to our undying love for each other. With another click of his fingers, the Maitre d' summoned the head waiter. He placed in front of my beloved a silver platter with a domed cover."VoilĂ ", he said, as he lifted the silver domed cover to reveal an open crimson velvet box in which there sparkled a diamond encrusted platinum necklace."For you, my love" I said as I gazed into the deep pools of her sweet and wonderful eyes.BTW I gave the wife a take-away burger.
