Title: Why does a swollen limb or body part bruise more easily when lightly injured?

Well I am curious why. I barely bump a swollen area on my foot and it bruises like crazy?

When you bruise..a blood vessel inside of you pops..causing the blood to gush out..causing colours. The body the re-absorbs the blood into the stream, whic explains the colour changes

Very nice job Maybe then that accounts for it because I am on blood thinners and may bleed more then usual...HUMMMMM That is something interesting to look into.. Thank you Young man!
