Martin's been in touch to ask:

"How long does it take the food I eat to become part of me?"

We'll be covering it on this week's show, but what do you think?

Recovery from a hypoglycemic coma can be measured in seconds or minutes after ingesting sugar. I guess the migration of calcium from milk to bone takes a bit longer, but the process clearly begins as soon as the chemicals reach whichever organ first absorbs them.

This was the QOTW a scant two weeks ago.

Is there a reason to do it all again separately, or that the answers there were insufficient?

As the more eagled-eyed among you spotted, we posted this on the forum twice! Our mistake - we got confused by the long sunny days of the bank holiday.

We answered this question (only once) on the show: https://www.thenakedscientists.com/podcasts/question-week/how-long-food-i-eat-becomes-me [nofollow]

Hope you can digest it!
