Physiology & Medicine / Re: The Female Orgasm
« on: 07/10/2005 19:24:22 »
thanks.. those web sites helped. It's nice to know I'm not strange and these things happen.

Now, can you explain why I have pain when the clitorus is stimulated?

Thanks!

Physiology & Medicine / Have you ever had a Thunderclap Headache During Orgasm?
« on: 05/10/2005 17:40:30 »
I know that when I have many orgasms, I have a headache for the rest of the day.

I am sometimes very emotional and will cry. That is rather upsetting to some men. [:0]

Bellygirl

From a personal standpoint. I don't ejaculate, like a guy, it's like a fluid.. and it comes from the vagina so it's not urine either. It is a deep orgasm, and it seems like it comes from the inner soul. It's not the color or smell of urin. It's a clear fluid, with a sweet smell. And when it happens.. it can happen over and over and over again and I have soaked through comfortors, sheets, mattress pads.. right to the mattess.. which I've since gotten rid of and got a mattress cover for my new one [:D].

From talking to other women, not all women do this. I'm not sure if they can't physically, or they just haven't found the right "spot". I've talked to many experience men too, and they have never been with a woman who can do it and usually I can only do it with manual stimulation although some guys are lucky and can hit the "spot". But this is very few and far between.

So, I hope that helps. I know I've done no research, just consider this one case study [8)]

Ok.. here's a woman's point of view. If you touch my clitorus, I'll have to punch you. I hate it.. it hurts. Don't always think the squirming is pleasure, in my case it's pain!

I do have 2 types of orgasim, one is kinda superficial, the other deep and with that I release a lot of fluid. I'm assuming that's the uterin you are talking about.

Docs.. your opinion?

Thanks!!

check the Zetacap pages, I think it's mentioned in there. My advice, diet and excersize is better than pills.

5 small meals per day at a minimum of 1200 calories. Not to hard once you get started.

Physiology & Medicine / Re: What is addiction ?
« on: 10/09/2005 08:54:50 »
From my drug counseling education, what makes herion addictive is the damage it does to the brain, seratonin and receptors. I don't remember exactly how it works anymore, but herion replaces serotonin and then it's not produced. If you take away the heroin, there's nothing left to replace it therefore you need the heroin or methadone here in the states.

You docs can correct me as needed. It's been a while since I've been in school.

Physiology & Medicine / Re: The best way to prevent transmission of std's
« on: 10/09/2005 08:47:57 »
Just an FYI. I heard from a friend not too long ago, she had Herpes. She dug through the memory files to try to figure out who gave it to her, she hadn't had many partners since her 15 year marriage broke up. She suspected a young man she met while getting her teaching certificate, a few years before. She also struggled with how to tell her current partner, a prominent physician in this very small town. Well, if you handn't guessed. The physician is the one who gave her Herpes. Just goes to show you can't trust anyone. He knew he had it and knew he could give it to her. His response was, "oh well, about 1 out of 4 people have it". What makes it worse is that he refrained from sex with an out-of-town girlfriend for years, for fear of giving it to her.

Makes me ill, especialy since my friend still is with him. UGH.

As for periods, I would think it has something to do hormone levels ;) I'll let you know for sure in a couple of days when I start to PMS!

Gecko.. not sure why you would hate me. But if you want to put that much effort into a message board.. by all means.. go for it. Personally I believe that those wishes or thoughts you put out on others comes back 100 fold. Remember that when sending "best wishes"

I hope you have a wonderful life!!!

What the hell gave you the idea that periods are based on the moon? What do they feed you people in the UK? LOL

Kudos for you drkev but no one can count on someone else to have the medical clearance or the social responability to not have sex when they are infected. Period. I'm not sure about guys, but I'm not into having Papsmears after each partner. So, NO SEX is the solution. Put it back INTO YOUR PANTS and don't use it until you KNOW that your partner is not infected, which means going to the appointment with him/her and seeing the results. Don't want to bother.. then DON"T have sex. It's not a life or death matter NOT having sex but it is HAVING sex.

actually.. what I'm saying is quit sleeping around. THAT is how you prevent HIV, and STD's. Don't have premerital sex. When you find the right partner for marriage, both get tested before having sex. That is NOT ignorant, that is the responsible thing to do. Gay or not, DON'T BE A ****! You won't have to worry about any disease if you don't have sex! Is that realistic? probably not, but don't blame the other person for giving you a disease. YOU chose to have sex with them.

Ok.. here's a good idea.. instead of denying people their civil rights, branding them with the "scarlet letter" and condeming them to a life of shame and guilt. How about.. QUIT BEING A **** AND HAVING SEX WITH PEOPLE YOU DON'T KNOW!! and yes, men can be sluts too. Be monogomouse, make sure you know your partner. Take time to care and maybe go to a Dr. apt. with them. DUH.. interesting concept huh?

Physiology & Medicine / Re: Am I suffering from Schizophrenia ?
« on: 24/08/2005 16:03:16 »
ok.. lets define schizophrenia. Schizophrenia is a mental illnes often accompanied by hearing voices that no one else hears or seeing things no one else sees. NOT by guessing what's next.

Some folks have delusions such as they are God and Elvis, the classics,  or that they are major league baseball players and haven't ever picked up a bat in their lives. Some folks are perfectly able to function in society with medications, and some are not.

My guess is that you are a good "guesser". If not and there is some psychic ability, have fun with it, don't panic, we are all psychic in some ways, we just ignore it. Personally I have dreams that come true, but I never know which ones until after! Being Psychic is NOT schizophrenia.

See a therapist if you have a question.

I agree with being in the sun and having a tan not being the best situation. Unfortunately, I cannot stay out of the sun. Along with a full time job as a social worker, I teach riding lessons and train horses. That's hard to do in the dark ;). In NY, I rarely wore a sunscreen. Here in AZ I don't leave home without it when I'm going to be training. I really should wear it all the time. As a child I've gotten some bad sun burns. Falling asleep while lying in a float on the pool. Just hoping that my Mexican heritage will protect me.

yea.. I found these other posts by accident one night. I checked all over the internet for the gastro bypass and band information. I have almost gone to a seminar, but I only need to lose about 40lbs. They won't do anything for me. Good luck with yours, let me know how it goes.!

Physiology & Medicine / Re: What are dreams ?
« on: 18/08/2005 16:50:19 »
Recently I have had a lot of reoccuring dreams that revolve around unresolved issues with my mother. They are very antagonistic and I usually wake up crying and having feelings of abandonment. I guess at 40 my brain is telling me it's time for me to deal with the psychological traumas she inflicted on me. Purely unintentional on her part, but nevertheless some of the things that she said to me as a child were obviously significant to me and have left a lasting impression.

I have noticed since my trip back to my home town, that some of the dreams that I have had recently about the town, that I haven't seen in 5 years, have been accurate. Some changes in geography of the area etc. I also have dreams that "come true" which are really cool! but you don't know which are coming true until after they came true. I solve problems in my dreams, like training issues with my horses, or problems with clients at work or personal relationship struggles.

I also have dreams of deceased pets that come to visit, just to say Hi. All of my pets have come to visit the day after they passed. My mom's cat was in a dream before I knew that he had died. I also have a cat now, that when I dream and it's especially emotionally charged, like those about my mother, he is in the dream. He just pops in as if to ground me so that I can be still somehow in the present as well as in a dream. It's almost like he is my link to the "other world" kinda sorta. I know it sounds strange, but YOU started the topic on dreams!! LOL

I enjoy dreaming, even the hard ones that leave me crying or upset in some way. It's almost like watching a movie, or going on vacation!

I am in AZ and in the sun a lot. I have been blessed with being able to tan with the help of a little sunblock. You won't notice if the sun has done damage for 25 years. At least that's what the dermatologist said to my dad as they took off the basil cell carsinoma from his face. So, the damage you do today won't show up for at least 20 years. I have notice native arizonians that work in the sun have dried skin and wrinkle earlier. They look much older than those of us from the North East. Also it's not always the burning that damages the skin, sun, period is damaging. I always wear a 12 SPF or higher, even though I don't burn without it. It keeps my skin moist and healthy looking while I still get some tan.

I think that going to the beach is a preference. The warm sun, the water crashing on the beach. I don't know why people golf. It's kinda the same priciple I guess.
