What are you planning on putting in the ground this year?
The brats if they keep making that fekin racket! [:(!]

We had our first sunny weekend with reasonably mild temperatures. I sniffed the compost in my greenhouse and started thinking about the spring and if I would triumph over the animal kingdom this year in my attempts to grow vegetables. It is always tough as I'm on the edge of a water meadow with deer and pheasants passing through, enough pigeons to sink a battle ship and the fattest slugs and caterpillar you have ever seen.
Will my tomatoes get blight, will my courgettes get end rot. Should I even bother trying this year. Of course I'll bother. It is all part of life. The successes usually outweigh the failures.

Brats never transplant well. Just go on and compost them and start new ones from seed.

I'm going for disease resistant seed next time as mine keep getting Tonsillitis.

Will my tomatoes get blight
I've heard sheep droppings make a good liquid feed for tomatoes, Neilep may be able to contribute.
