What are UFO,s they are unidentified flying object,s that could mean that it is not possible to identify them or simply that you or I cannot identify them.
If you take the later meaning they certainly exist I see them all the time, If you take the former meaning it is very rare that with sufficient research they cannot be identified.
If you mean are any UFO,s Vehicles from other planets or galaxies this idea is utter nonsense there are many reasons why people claim or even believe they are but this is a matter for psychologist's or criminal authorities not physicist's to investigate.

I believe that ten minutes in photoshop would produce more convincing pictures than these.

Most, if not all, sightings are misinterpretation of natural phenomena, misidentification of normal flying object (planes for example) or fabrications. Whilst it cannot be ruled out that these are alien visitations, it does not seem likely. Human beings seem susceptible to suggestion and, going back to the writings of the the Venerable Bede in the early 8th century (and other sources), it is clear that there was quite a widespread belief in the existance of fire breathing dragons over much of europe. This is not born out with evidence but did not prevent there being many apparent sightings and elaborate drawings made.

I also think that any aliens with the capability of interstellar travel would be sufficiently advanced that they would not be detectable if they chose not to be.

I know UFOs exist; I found one in my garden.

Then I realised it was one of those "Chinese lantern" thingies.
It's now an IFO (identified flying object).

What I'm less convinced about is the idea of objects from anywhere but Earth turning up and doing anything interesting (meteors fall out of the sky, but that's not that odd. What else would a rock in the sky be expected to do?)

Could UFOs exist? By definition, yes. Ufos are simply unidentified flying objects. Therefore anything flying in the air that is not identified can be dubbed a UFO.
Now if by UFO you mean "aliens"; that's slightly more complicated. The nearest planet that is even remotely capable of containing life is many light years away. If in fact aliens did reach earth, they would be so far more advanced than us. However, despite the fact,  I am a believer that we have been visited by UFOs. There are many clues to lead to this belief; there have been many ancient references to,  what appears to be, advanced beings. Even many of the ancient constructions are questionable; how could, thousands of years ago, the ancients build such wonders with such amazing precision? Some even line up perfectly with our solar system and the rotation of our planets. One structure even lines up perfectly with a natural structure on Mars, point for point. There are many other things as well, such as: geoglyphs, electronic plating and even what appears to be lightbulbs. How could the ancients have acquired such knowledge? Even the book of Genesis seems to make references to extraterrestrials. Do some research online and it will raise many questions within your mind, and makes you start to wonder.

I saw an object sparkle far in the sky, while I was stretched out on the beach looking at the blue sky. The  image was there for a short while until it blinked. Since I couuld not say what it was Can I say it was a unidentified flying object?

On a cool October night as the full moon was in the clear portion of the East sky and shadowing directly overhead was the dark thick puffy clouds showing their silver lining. Half way between the clouds and the moon were something unidentifiable and I could only assume.
A small sparkling dot arched across the night sky. The moons light reflected off the clouds illuminated this object at just the correct angle. Adding to this once in a lifetime event another one followed the same path approx 30 deg apart from my perspective as the second one reached that far off point another one appeared. I know it sound unbelievable but true. From the behavior I only can assume that they were satalites, but I am not positive. Unidentified yes, flying yes, objects well seeing them orbit a timed like cascade and reocurring, it was not my imagination. As the alignment of the moon with respect to the clouds everything disapeared.

I believe what you saw were the Iridium series of communication satellites which travel in rather low orbits and flash as their solar panels catch the light.
These satellites are used to relay phone calls from hand held equipment and their orbital parameters  can be found on the internet.
