Title: Is White Pepper A Different Plant From Black Pepper?

Dearest Snuffologists,

As a sheepy I of course come in two varieties....ewe got the black ones and the white ones !...sorted !


But check this bunch of pepper out !

Nice eh ?..being ground up and forced up my neighbours nose next Tuesday !

Are white and black pepper the same plant ?..different ?...cos one is a lot milder than the other eh ?......I think I also heard once that it's a fruit !!...is that right ?..how can it be a fruit ?


please enlighten me with your pepper orientated answers.

Pepper is a fruit.

The whole peppercorns are boiled then allowed to dry to make black pepper. White pepper is the seed only from the peppercorn.
