Sverre Vigander asked the Naked Scientists:
Hi Chris,
Just a little nit-pick.
In one
show
recently, you talk about oxygen, and state that life breathing oxygen is about 3.9 billion years old.
This is not true; oxygen was not present in the atmosphere before about 2.5 billion years ago, when photosynthesis was invented by life.
Best regards,
Sverre Vigander, Norway
What do you think?
