Title: cashmier exstract

I just bought new body lotion and label says that it contains na exstract of cashmier. Isnt a cashmier typ of wool? So how you get an exstract of it and does this exstrac realy soften your skin?

I don't know about cashmere wool (which I think comes from goats) but they extract a sort of grease from sheep's wool called lanolin. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lanolin
This is used in handcreams and such.
Any clean, non-toxic grease wil reduce the evaporation of water from the skin and might help stop it drying out. IMHO cosmetic firms are all competing to see who can sell the most expensive grease.
