Title: Will sea level rise reach Cambridge?
Post by: FuzzyUK on 24/01/2007 02:20:00
According to a TV program I've just seen on UKTV History channel, global warming will cause water to rise and flood in towards Cambridge from the Wash in a few decades.

Anyone got a link to a modified satellite image depicting this? The graphic was not detailed enough to determine whether the sea would actually reach the City or not or just largely flood the fens.

I have visions of Chris punting to work at Addenbrookes, and me selling ice creams on the pier on Hills Road.

Cheers,
Fuzzy
