Post by: DoctorBeaver on 23/02/2009 15:58:06
This is Doc on his new toy - a WiFi laptop - so now even when I'm stuck on my armchair I can still pester you all!

Did someone leave a tube of super glue on your armchair?

So you're not an armchair philosopher, just an armchair pestererer!

Hi Doc,

good to see you back!
You've got the wireless laptop for a good start...
now you need open air and a lot of sunshine to make plenty of D-vitamin:

...may be a UVBlamp for iguanas would sort the same effect.
Take care

Thank you, Enrico. At least you are civil to me, not like these other peasants

I leave the pleasure for you. I have something other in mind.  [?] (beware, evil abounds around you!)

I would however prefer a laptop for screen and key size!

This 1 is actually a notepad. Smaller and lighter than a laptop.

Key size isn't everything. It is what you do with it that counts.

One of those 9 inch sized with solid state storage?

It's roughly A4 size when closed and has a 160Gb hard drive. It's An Advent 4213 if you want to check it out.

I am looking at three - The Acer, the Samung and a Dell. Carrying around an 8# full-sized laptop is a pain in the shoulder, esp. if it is accompanied in your brief case by several pounds of paper and a couple of paper notebooks & a pad of note paper.

Whether or not Doc is posting TNS from his armchair or not,
he'll still be a quirky rodent/poster and a great one as well.  [;)]
