Title: What is the "Dashboard Module"? as my Windows AV is blocking it !
Post by: rosalind dna on 02/12/2008 22:09:23
I have a Windows XP Desktop computer and when I turned the computer on this
Tuesday evening the Windows Firewall AV, blocked the "Dashboard Module"
made by Yahoo Inc.

What is it also should I unblock it or not?

I can't find it on Google other than forums and sites saying that Dashboard
Module is being "retired" in 2003/4.

Thanks, Rosalind

This is the 1st paragraph from http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/ysm/sps/screenref/16458.html (http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/ysm/sps/screenref/16458.html)

Use the Dashboard to view summaries and graphs of your account statistics and to see a snapshot of your account’s overall state. If you have access to more than one account, you can view the Dashboard for all of your accounts. It displays alerts, performance data, and graphs, as well as the campaigns, ad groups, and keywords on your watch list. The Dashboard provides convenient access to your campaigns, ad groups, and keywords so that you can view details or make changes. Sign into your account to view the Dashboard.

Doc thanks for the link but in August I had changed my ISP from BTBroadband
so it's strange if it is to do with BT.

Also trying to monitor my accounts statistics and the overall accounts stats.
Good thing that I blocked it then.
