Title: A Circle without PI by author Vijimon (VIXRA)

The other day when browsing internet for something interesting related to math, i came across a stunning paper titled as mentioned in the subject line of this post, which i thought should be shared with the science community. Out of sheer curiosity, i managed to read the paper. I found the paper to be very interesting. One can also find the paper on the following link provided.

This author claims that there is a fundamental error in our mathematics. It's related to the circle constant - Pi. How far the authors claims are true? If so, how does this impact our current science?

Sounds like someone's trying to "square the circle (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Squaring_the_circle#Impossibility)".

His mistake is in basic trigonometry. The six equilateral triangles are 1 unit on each side so their combined areas are 0.43 * 6 square units. This is around 2.58 square units which is so near to pi that he has already falsified his own theory. He has counted the number of triangles instead of summing their areas. Schoolboy error I am afraid.
