Title: Teeth...
Post by: Simulated on 30/07/2007 15:33:36
What is the best way to whiten them? I've tried brushing and brushing, flossing and flossing, scraping and scraping (with some things dad got a Wal Mart), and nothing is working. I know what your going to say. "the best way to whiten them is not let them get unwhite!" haha.

Zoom whitening from your dentist is probably the most effective way of whitening your teeth. However it costs somewhere between 400-500 bucks, a wee bit pricey. The best stuff to get from the drug store is the Rembrandt Whitening System (not the 2 hour one). They arent strips, but rather a tray that a gel is squeezed into then you wear it for something like 20 minutes every day for 2 weeks. I have yet to use it, but a girlfriend of mine is a hygenist and thats what she recommends.

Yeah IDK if I wanna go that route. LoL. I'll have to try those one things at the drug store. If I was to spent that much money at my age it would have to be on a car that'd I'd fix up or new piano, keyboard, or gutiar, or guitar amp. LoL. Thanks Sim!

my uncle has always recommended not whitening your teeth. he says that most of the whitening stuff is too abrasive and weakens your tooth enamel. so unless they're very discolored, i'd probably not risk it, sim

Hey! I just saw a commerical and it said something about toothpaste that has baking soda in it. They said baking soda works, but not as good as this. Should I try baking soda?!

Apparently, sodium bicarbonate and sodium chloride with some water, made into a paste, works well.
