Title: Are these weight loss drugs really so effective?
Post by: jamestod on 06/01/2006 20:43:33
Hi!
Are these weight loss drugs really so effective rather than exercise. I understand that natural therapies are better way to sort this weight problem. How many people consider this thing. I hope
many people are following natural therapies instead of applying the weight loss drugs. Is n't it?
Many website selling weight loss drug & saying take with exercise. It is totally joking, when we do exercise then why there is a need of weightloss drug. When I visit one of phentermine site :
http://www.buy-diet-pill-phentermine-online.com/phentermine_side_effects_precautions.html
they write at bottom of that URL : Phentermine is not a substitute for proper diet. For maximum effects, this must be used in conjunction with a diet and exercise program.
Also they write : It works best when it is taken in conjunction with diet, exercise and behavior therapy ( at http://www.buy-diet-pill-phentermine-online.com ). I heard they are looting online.
It's amazing!!!!!!!

1st-I did not go for the Phen-Fen fad.  But, let me see if I can explain the mentality to you-

A person can go on a diet.  Any “good” diet can help the overweight person lose weight with the addition of exercise.  I will not be addressing the “muscle weighs more than fat”, so if you were to actually lose 2lbs of fat by diet and exercise has increased your muscle mass by a hair, the overweight person sees a gain of 1/4 lb (if their scale shows those increments), then the diet and excesses has yet again “failed” them, quitting the regime before the benefits can be seen.

But what is a good diet?
-Restricted Calorie–could and nearly was fatal to someone in “starvation mode”.  Ask me which close relative is still recovering from this.
-Low Fat–even with exercise this put 2 dress sizes on me in only 1 month.  (I really wanted it to work).
-Vegetarian–This is how my GP discovered that by body doesn’t recognize protein unless it was once part of an animal.  Calories yes, protein no.
-Weight ********-Great Program!  This took off 40lbs.  And not 1lb more!  It was suggested that my body was now used to the diet and I should take a vacation from it and begin again.  So, 2 weeks later, I began again.  Not even 1lb came off—I gave it a month.
-Stop the ********-that was a quick road to weight gain for me.
-Ephedra based *’***.  Race around like a high performance car and get nowhere fast.

And I can tell you that every Obese person you see, has a comparable story...their story...their attempts...the reasons they did not know, that each diet they tried lied and did not bring them down to a pleasing, sexy, wear whatever they darn well want, socially acceptable size.  And a great many of these people are angry, having given up for the time being.  Telling themselves to just accept it ‘cause it’s obviously not going anywhere, anytime soon.

A growing number of people have Insulin playing its “take it and store it”roll on every carbohydrate that comes by.  This is especially true when you are still trusting what you are buying, before you earn your degree in “understanding Food Nutrition Labels”.  “And be sure to stay away from corn and all it’s by products, pineapple and all it’s by products, mango and all it’s by products, white flour and all products it’s in”, but not because you are allergic to any of these.

Over 30 years and easily a dozen different attempts at “good diet & exercise”, going from a Missy size13-14, to a 3x in a not very slow increase, I tried the Cortisol supplements, because I had an extreme increase of stress in my marriage.  They gave me my $ back.  Now for all these years of “good diet and exercise” I am fairly strong, for not being a  female body builder.  And I have my proof that once the fat is gone I will have very nice muscular definition.

I know who I am, and I know that I am trapped inside this thick layer.  I have not found what will cause it to go away.  My GP has put me on South Beach, but because no diet has worked on me on the 2nd attempt, I am also trying Supplements to add to this “good diet and exercise”.
And yes, there are very many companies that are selling empty promises.  Those that offer guarantees at least seem to think they can help.
If you got all the way down here, thank you, and please don’t jump to conclusions.
