....employ a system like a lot of sites do when if you type something incorrectly that it comes up with a ' did you mean ?' option ?
I find it rather annoying !!

Google makes enough money and can afford to do that; they have to produce a list of all 'near' spellings of all common words and keep it up to date. I should imagine Wiki has a lot less time and effort available.
The same thing applies on ebay and most shopping sites; you miss-spell fridge as firdge and it won't respond.
You'll just have to spruce up your spleling siklls.

I prefer using Google to search for a wiki article by including "wiki" or "wikipedia" in my search. Usually produces the desired effects.

Sometimes I do that, but other times I am in wiki, and want to search for something else, but don't want to reload the page for google to do that.

The simplest option for wiki to do would be to invoke google to search within the wiki pages when it comes to a misspelled word.

I can't imagine that TNS has more money than wikipedia. Search for something on this site and misspell the word. It gives you "did you mean?" and then the word you're looking for.

Someone has put the population of my home town in as 10,000,000,000,000... well it was last time i looked. Idiots.
