Dearest Brainologists and those with experience of having a brain,
As a sheepie I of course have a brain. Out of all the parts of the central nervous system that includes all the higher nervous centers enclosed within the skull the brain is my all time fave.
Look, here's a brain inside a skull !

A brain inside a skull yesterday afternoon.
Apparently, humans are the only animals whose brains shrink with age !...why’s that then ?
Why does a human brain specifically shrink with age ?
I asked Neda our Bulgarian cleaner and all she did was look at me weirdly and proceed to vacuum the carpet !...so..no luck there !
Can ewe help ?
hugs and shmishes

If you look at this picture (http://www.thenakedscientists.com/forum/index.php?topic=40722.msg365683#msg365683) from another thread by beaker you will see that the cartoonist didn't look at a real scan before drawing Homer's median sagittal section - ie if you cut the head in two back to front along the line of the nose (tomographically or messily) you cannot see the eyes or the orbits at all! Sloppiness - we can forgive the wrong number of fingers, but not central eyes....
