I'm looking for suggestions that would help to broaden the appeal and usefulness of this website and our other related content.
Can anyone make any suggestions regarding widgets / concepts / components / features - that you would find personally helpful here on the site?

I think it would be good if when you ask a question you can check to see if it was asked before. I'm not sure this might already be a feature. I'm Mrs Technofear. I'm quite happy with how things are set out I just wish some poster weren't so grouchy!

Hi Chris.
Something that would greatly aide my forum participation and ease of use, would be to have a page up and a page down located on the opening page of the forum. It's the one page that does not currently have this feature and it would certainly make moving from the lower threads up into the upper threads like the general science area etc much faster and easier to access...
The constant scrolling to get to certain sections is difficult on a smart phone which lately has been my online access.
It would make me immensely happy to see this feature added to our main forum page and not just on individual threads....
Could we possibly apply it to the opening page of the forum where we see the separate sections of the forum...?

Downloadable wallpapers
A chat room for science discussions
An educational/science library of resource texts

I know you have been naked for a long time but school filters will sometimes disallow things with rude words in the address. I think the name of the forum is a big problem for younger users and teachers.

Edutainment (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Edutainment) , e.g. games & puzzles with a science theme, (not my cup-of-tea but could appeal to the younger audience).
