Title: about governments and ufo "cover ups"

I just had a quick scan of the FBI and ufo cover ups etc. Well I spend alot of time questioning alot of subjects. I am not saying that ufo's arent out there but I question the aliens ( if they are there) hiding themselves from the public in general and also question (again if they are there) their allience with governments and their clandestine depts. (eg. FBI , CIA , NSA , MI5 ,etc etc.). I hypothetically put myself  in an aliens shoes and came to the conclusion that if I had the ability to travel through space then I for one would not hide from the people nor would I allign myself with any government. In fact I would gladly share technology  and anything else which would be of benefit to the people of the earth. I assume that I am not going to be the only person who would openly share technology etc with the world as a whole so its logical to say that if ET was here then there will be at least one ov his species would do what I would do. Its therefore for this reasoning that ET is not here at this point in time. This is not to say that ET hasnt been here somtime in our ancient past.

Some people think ET designed us.

ETs may be in opposition to each other.

Some may be adverse, evil, others benevolent.

Us being aware of them may make it harder for them to control us. Remember what Hawking said about the fate of the native Americans, as a metaphor for us as a whole.
