...I'm sure it's generally accepted that the first humans came from Africa....which is nice...so, presumably they were black.

So how did white Caveman end up England, and where did all the asians pop out from, it's really confusing.
Are you saying i come from an afrikan dude?
Did the dark skin people eventually get lighter and lighter until we ended up with the whiter skin people?
Dude, this is like several topics worth of questions here.

I think it's very unlikely that there's any evidence at all about the skin colour of the first human beings. Presumably they all started off the same colour, and then over time as the darker of the people who stayed living in Africa benefited from more melanin (sp?) and so less skin cancer and so reproduced more successfully, people in Africa got steadily darker, and conversly those in areas with less intense sunlight benefited from less melanin (I forget why that helps if you're somewhere gloomy, tho' a I think it might be to do with vitamin A).
Sorry, Razor, I don't think there *can* be a definitive answer... and no answer at all without "that evolution stuff".

SO where do asians come from? Why do they generally have different shaped eyed and are shorter? That cant be evolution and this isnt racist its a fact.

Why do we have red, yellow, black and white people? If we all came from the same two people (adam and eve) then we would all be thick and inbred. This has been shown over only a few generations so surely over millions of years the gene pool would have dried up.

Its all too fishy for me. I do not for one minute believe we came from two people.

Adam and eve had two children kane and able they didnt have any others. One of the sons killed the other which means that to spawn the rest of us the remaining son would have had to have slept with his mother.

There is no way that two people can spawn enough people to populate the world.

But if we did come from 2 people would'nt they be black?, cause christian faith interprets adam and eve as white, and what about that slogan, "Once you're black, you never go back".
Meh, another conflict between Science and Religion.

Um, sorry, badly expressed... probably more like we evolved out of a population of pre-human ape type things, and carried on getting genetic diversity out of that population occasionally until the two groups diverged far enough for such pairings to cease to produce offspring. But I think the general view is that people evolved in one place and so out of a single population of apes so (and this bit is where I'm guessing) they were probably more or less the same colour.
The genetic diversity among the human popultion as a whole is extraordinarily small, apparently (like all n million of us have less genetic diversity than some population of about 200 mountain gorillas) and that's why inbreeding's such a problem.
Asians? Different coloured hair? Well, once the humans spread out, different mutations got perpetuated in different populations, think of all the different "typical" face shapes amongst individuals from different areas of africa... caucasians are wierdly homogenous.
