Title: What is usually the better option?

When a loved one dies, often they leave behind medical equipment such as walking aids, breathing machines, cardio monitors, etc. What is usually the best option?:
1. Keep 'em for sentimental purposes.
2. Sell or auction them.
3. Donate them.
