If you use your eyes all the time they become fatigued. Stareing at a computer can be very difficult on the eyeballs. However, I do not know what is going on with you specifically. I do know that at your age your eyes are able to recovor much better than if you were as old and infirmed as I am.

If I were you, I'd have your eyes checked by a professional. They are important and should be one of your primary health priorities.

In the young it can be due to uneven growth in the eyeball as you grow up.  As you get older you then tend to slowly lose the ability to focus your eyes so that by the time one reaches 50-60 years everyone needs glasses for something either distance or close to.
Finally if you have astigmatism which is uneven focussing in different directions(like I do) you need spectacles all the time to get the best response.  Mind you when I wear them I can read the bottom line on eye charts quite easily.

What sort of problems are you having with your eyes and do you wear glasses?

According to my optician, there is a peak time for sight getting less good at about 13 to 15 years old, as a young person grows rapidly. My son, who is 13, has just had to start wearing glasses for the first time. Usually, when it settles, there is very little change in vision until age begins to take its toll, usually in the 40's.

I've heard of one or two other reasons why a young mans vision might become impaired.....[] Oh, and it stunts your growth too. I'm 2ft6.....

I have also heard that the same thing that causes eye problems will cause hair to grow on the palms of one's hands. I keep wondering why I type so slowly. []

Aircraft pilots must keep a perfect eyesight.
Take your time and relax.
Even reading a book is not as bad for your eyes.

I apologize I had no idea you already wore glasses.. Probably in your pictures, but I never noticed them...
