Dearest Teaologists,
As a sheepy I of course enjoy Tea. Tea is my all time favourite drink made from dried and prepared leaves and then infused in hot water.
Look, here's my cup.

You know, neil, you are in the wrong business. You should be spending your time selling rubbish to idiots. You'd do it very well.
On second thoughts, perhaps that's what you do for us.
btw, if you have square feet, where do you go to buy your shoes?

I guess it depends on how long it takes all the chemicals to diffuse out of the teabag and equalize with the water, once that's happened there's no need for it to be left in any longer. I'm not sure how to measure that but i'm sure someone somewhere has

If so, won't they suggest something like 15-20 minutes?

Only if they think people like cold tea.

Doh! I had a feeling someone was going to say that. Drink it with the tea bag inside! Surely you can't finish one in 3 minutes?

Thank Ewe Madidus_Scientia. I am sure this will be a study worth spending lots of government on. I will apply for a grant. I'll of course need a mansion and ten billion pounds to enable to fund my one cup a day but I am sure the results will be worth it and will no doubt be required reading in all educational establishments. Thank ewe Chemistry4me The thing is..I think the premise of tea is to be enjoyed as a drink...the antioxidants are just a bonus ! [:)]

No, thank ewe, I said it with tongue in cheek and was merely attempting to be a smart arse. I shall now stop trolling this thread. [::)]

Little bit acid in these times? [:)]
I like my friend Neil's questions. [;)]
This one is interesting too, for me, but I sincerely don't know the answer.

I agree with lightarrow and do enjoy Neils Questions. I also have a thought about the tea and personally feel it benifits would be better the longer the tea sits so as to remove the lvely antoxidents and be able to enjoy their stronger flavors.
I personally leave my bag in the cup or steeper in my cup with loose leaf tea as I want it stronger flavored.. I am a flavor girl for sure!I hate weak tea!

I am sure that Sophiecentaur did not mean his sentence to be interpreted that way. In fact, I am quite sure it was meant as a compliment [:)]
