which can't be copied. I want to download tutorials from a web site which is ment for only viewing web pages. There web pages get transferred from server only. It opens in browser and can't be downloaded by it !!
I have tried to download using some web page offline viewing software. but it didn't work .. it can only viewed by those who payed for it. I payed for it and it's gonna expire. it contains some tutorials displayed with sound , html ,text and Flash !!

is there any software to download which are only ment to view ?
I want to use it for offline in my laptop which don't have internet !!

I am sorry if I misunderstood the question, but as I understand it, you wish to save the content of a page displayed to you in your browser.

Doesn't Ctrl+S work?  When I save tutorials I just press Ctrl+S and save it. The disadvantage is that you have to find all the pages you need and then save them, and nothing else will work on the pages except for the pages you've saved. But if the pages have commercials, it is not such a bad idea, is it? [:)]

When you request a webpage other than HTML, for instance like .php, firstly the server will interpret the php document you requested, process it and send the html version of that document to your browser, which it then loads. That's why all you should have to do is just saving it, and it will save the html version on your computer.  The PHP document wouldnt not be of much use on your computer anyway unless you've got a Local Host with php interpreter.

Your not supposed to because of copyright, but if your desperate, use "view source" and "save as" the source.
I do that to get an untainted reference of the site as it was at that moment.
Mainly they are worried about copyright but with the laws for academic purpose and information access that can be waved about such sites generally if you intend to make no money with it or use it personally.
Images are often more jeolously gaurded.

How to download it ?

Just press Ctrl+S (Or save it manually from the files tap). You cannot really download a webpage as you would with a peer-to-peer sharing program. You can only save the html formed version of that page sent by the server. Doing the procedure mentioned above.

You can also go to the source page as nicephotog suggested, but if the Ctrl+S works as it does on mine, you have one point less to do [:)]

Yes, in IE (Ver. 8) you'd have to go to 'files' and press 'save as', which sadly has no keyboard shortcut.

@ScientificBoysClub:
What is the URL?

You only see layout, and not the actual content of the tutorial?  Strange.

A very non-nerdy solution might be to approach the owner of the material and ask for a copy. They can only say no!
They may even be flattered - unless it's a feature film.

Or just copy and paste everything into a text processor. A tedious piece of work, but might do the trick.

There are also all of the java / active X scripts to down load - clear your browsers cache and open windows explorer to the active cache directory - delete any files you see. Then open our browser, go to the bookmarked page you wish to keep and all files that are downloaded to your computer will be retained in that directory. If, however, some of the files that put content on the screen are not downloaded to your computer you may not get all files. There are some newer protocols thaat keep some content files on the web server.
